VENA
VENA is a photography marketplace and booking platform operated by ViaTech. This policy explains what personal data we hold, why, and the rights you can exercise over it. We design for data minimisation: we collect only what a booking, a payment, and the law require.

Your name, email address, the bookings and payments you make, the messages you exchange through our relay, and basic technical signals needed to keep the platform secure. We are phone-less by design — we never ask for or store a phone number.
Photographers and clients reach each other through a privacy-safe relay. Neither side sees the other's real email or phone number — there is no phone number to leak because we never collect one.
A freelance photographer's exact location is never published. Discovery shows an approximate service zone, never a home address or precise coordinates.
To run bookings, hold and release escrow payments, deliver notifications you've opted into, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
We keep records only as long as needed for the booking, the payment, dispute windows, and the retention periods the law requires (for example tax and accounting records). After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Under Malaysia's PDPA (and equivalent protections in other regions we serve) you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Some records tied to completed payments or legal obligations must be retained even after an account is closed; where we cannot erase, we restrict and anonymise instead.
Email our data-protection contact and we'll verify your identity and respond within the statutory window. Account closure and self-service data export are being rolled out; until then this contact is the way to request an export or erasure.
